Looking back a decade, today, tells me how much far we have come in terms of IT & E-Technology. There was a time when people used to throng to Cyber Cafes to surf the NET, read Global Technology News & check Mails. Those days even I used to be one of them. I have seen & experienced how it feels to be surfing in a Cyber Cafe when you are surrounded by people around, the clock ticking & money falling short. But today the trend of Cyber Cafes is slowly diminishing. Technology & Communication has come so far & is now accessible by millions of Homes, Businesses & Individuals in terms of the Cost factor which has come down considerably. Technology with choices is what I'd prefer to call it, WiFi, WiMax, Broadband, GPRS, VPN's, 3G etc. I wonder what's next in this arena.

Just think of the Internet & the Websites that power Communication & you will see how much in the front lines we have come. There was a time when a single or 4 pager website used to cost a BOMB to Host & was a Novelty to many businesses. Now as the overall scenario has changed even the price tags which came with Hosting have dramatically come down & have become more Transparent. Imagine the verticals the  NET today is empowering for us, Communication, Financial, Matrimonials, Shopping, Education empowerment etc. The list is just endless & will continue to grow & surprise us in the future.

But just the thought of not going to your bank & doing things completely On-Line, itself shows how much we have traveled in to the Digital Lands. IT is changing the face of every Business / Nation. But it's still unfortunate that even today many business owners are not able to comprehend the importance of the Websites or are slow in adapting to the Technology.
